Every year, we are fortunate to attend an exciting event for the #winetourist!  Last night, we tasted award-winning wines from the 2018 Monticello Cup Wine Competition along side the winegrowers and winemakers who made them. The night ended with the competition results for the Top 6 wines and winner of the prestigious Monticello Cup for the overall highest scoring wine.

Tournon-sur-Rhône

Tournon-sur-Rhône is a commune in southern France on the right bank of the Rhone river.  We drove through this beautiful town on our way to Uzès, France in September, 2018.  We stopped for lunch, tried the local Rosé, sat outsideand enjoyed the pleasant weather.  Cheers to road trips!

 The charming country side.

Old Town, Alexandria

Walked around Old Town Alexandria's harbor.  I observed some folks feeding the birds, admired the yachts, and people-watched.
