The Colors of San Antonio
in New York City
I’ve been to NYC before, but this time I went with my husband, who’s never been to NYC (Please don’t tell him I told you)! It was my mission to show him around!
Drinks while enjoying the lights of Time Square—and not actually being in the middle of it!
For dinner one night, I took him to Eataly.
We drove to the cute coastal town of Marseille in Southern France.
As our usual agenda, we ate, drank, walked and took photos (in that order)!
Honestly, for some weird reason, I’ve always thought that Philadelphia was “gritty.” I’m not even sure what that word means, but I was very wrong. I found it very charming, rich in history and very classy.
We had to go to Reading Market. What a colorful place—the smell, the sound, the people were just so vibrant and alive!
Ah ... Southern France
Villa Du Sanglier is a bed and breakfast owned by our good friends, Herman and Nevenka, tucked in the romantic village of Saint Siffret, France. We ate Nevenka's home cooked meals, drank some fine French wines, and simply had a wonderful time!
We met Some wonderful folks that we now call friends! #Winetourist #SaintSiffret

Every year, we are fortunate to attend an exciting event for the #winetourist! Last night, we tasted award-winning wines from the 2018 Monticello Cup Wine Competition along side the winegrowers and winemakers who made them. The night ended with the competition results for the Top 6 wines and winner of the prestigious Monticello Cup for the overall highest scoring wine.
Octagon 40th anniversary limited edition was present (Barboursville Vineyards)
The winner of the 2018 Monticello Cup is Veritas Vineyard & Winery's 2015 Petit Verdot "Paul Shaffer's 7th edition"! Congratulations to Emily Pelton and the Veritas family!
Tournon-sur-Rhône is a commune in southern France on the right bank of the Rhone river. We drove through this beautiful town on our way to Uzès, France in September, 2018. We stopped for lunch, tried the local Rosé, sat outside, and enjoyed the pleasant weather. Cheers to road trips!

Old Town, Alexandria
Walked around Old Town Alexandria's harbor. I observed some folks feeding the birds, admired the yachts, and people-watched.
Of course, my walk involved some sort of shopping.
